Where Do I Sign a Wyoming Title?

The title MUST BE NOTARIZED! Do not sign the title until you are in front of a Notary Public.

Sign on the back of the title where it is marked “Signature of Seller(s).”

Print your name on the back of the title where it reads “Printed Name of Seller(s).”

Can I Sell a Car in Wyoming Without a Title?

Wyoming requires a title to sell a vehicle. If your title is lost, a replacement title can be obtained from the County Clerk’s Office.

Titling a Vehicle Purchased From a Private Party

The original Wyoming title properly signed by the seller(s), notarized, and free of any liens must be presented to the County Clerk. Wyoming titles require all owners whose names appear on the face to sign as seller in the presence of a notary public. No matter how the names are joined (i.e.: John OR Jane Doe) all owners must sign.
