Washington title transfer is just a part of selling a car in Washington state. Luckily, the Washington state vehicle title transfer process is relatively easy (compared to some of the other states).
Where Do I Sign a Washington Title?
Washington requires a signature in two places. Sign the front of the title where it is marked “Registered Owner Signature”.
Sign the bottom of the title where it reads “Signature(s) of Seller(s).
Print your name on the bottom of the title where it reads “Printed Name(s) of Seller(s).”
Can I Sell a Car in Washington Without a Title?
Washington requires a title to sell a vehicle. If your title is lost, a replacement title can be obtained from the Department of Licensing.
